Albion Online Kicks Off Special Test Season On Its Newly-Opened ‘Albion East’ Server
Sandbox Interactive is improving the overall game experience for Albion Online players in Asia and neighboring regions with the opening of a new Singapore-based server.
The new “Albion East” server is now live for testing and has just kicked off a three-week beta season featuring a smaller world size and faster progression. Players who participate in the special beta season will have the chance to earn exclusive rewards, including custom guild logos and custom statues.
“While normal Guild Season rewards unlocked via the Conqueror's Challenge will only be available during the beta, and will not persist after the server is reset at beta end, top-ranking guilds, along with players who make sufficient progress during the season, can unlock unique rewards that persist even after the beta ends,” explained Sandbox Interactive.
While players in Asia would be better off using the new server to reduce latency issues, there’s nothing stopping them from staying on Albion West if they’d rather not start from scratch. You’ll still be able to use the same credentials for both Albion East and the now-renamed Albion West servers, but characters, progression, and currency wallets will be entirely separate for each server region.
