Albion Online Is Set To Kick Off Its Next Guild PvP Season On June 17
With Albion Online having gained an army of new players following the opening of its Albion East server, it’s interesting to see which of the new guilds will come out on top in the sandbox MMORPG’s next PvP season. We won’t have long to wait though as the next one is set to begin on June 17th.
“Save the date: on June 17 the next Guild Season begins on Albion East and Albion West!” announced Sandbox Interactive. “Albion East’s season will start at 00:00 UTC, and then at 11:00 UTC Albion West’s will kick off. Both seasons run concurrently, ending on 11 September, and as before, each server’s season is open to any character on that server – so you can participate in both simultaneously should you wish.”
It’s worth noting that Sandbox Interactive will be making significant changes to Hideout mechanics in the season which competitive guilds will definitely want to for. With the start of the new guild season, Hideouts that are at level 4 or higher will drain more energy along with a reduction in the amount of energy that non-HQ Hideouts will gain from Power Cores. Castle and Castle Outpost treasures will also spawn 30 minutes earlier on the Albion East server.
Additionally, both the Crystal League and the less lethal Crystal Arena will be using the Cross Map this season. Rank Points have also been adjusted for a smoother progression in the season.
The Crystal League Championship is coming this weekend to Albion East and Albion West - and we'll be showing it live on AlbionTV!
