Apex Legends Is Giving Away Free Cosmetic Packs As Compensation For Issues
Respawn Entertainment is giving away free Apex Legends cosmetic packs as compensation for the recent issues, missing cosmetics, and lost battle progress. The issues started at the top of the month following the release of the battle royale shooter’s April Fools’ update and have now thankfully been fixed.
Players will be able to claim eight free Apex Packs by logging in anytime between now and April 24, with each pack offering a chance to obtain cosmetics of different rarities and Heirloom Shards that can be used to upgrade Mythic items like Prestige Skins and Heirlooms. Note that you only need to once to receive the compensation packs and that you’ll be able to open them at any time once you’ve claimed them.
Meanwhile, Season 20 is still underway and will run until Season 21 officially begins on May 7. Season 21 will introduce Solo and Quad modes alongside a new legend named Alter.
