Ashes Of Creation Shows Off Full Siege Warfare Footage In 4K

Ashes of Creation’s siege area gameplay which is now available in the Alpha One Preview test. The footage showed off the PvE part of the new mode, specifically world boss encounters. Over the weekend, the studio released a new video that showcases the full siege gameplay in glorious 4K resolution.

The new gameplay footage features Creative Director Steven Sharif and his sizable team of medieval warriors as they take on an ice dragon to acquire a buff before setting up to defend their castle against the besieging forces.

Do note that siege warfare is still in the early stages of development and that the devs are still gathering to improve it. According to Sharif, sieges will be available four times a day during the month-long Alpha One test to allow them to better gather metrics and performance data related to the new mode. The ultimate goal is to be able to siege warfare with up to 500 active players.
