Blade And Soul Extends Demonsbane Rankings By An Extra Week Prior To Its Removal
Towards the end of 2021, Demonsbane Ranking. After just a year, however, the developers have decided to scrap the ranking system entirely as soon as the next major update goes live on January 11th.
In preparation for the ranking system’s removal, the current Demonsbane season will run for an extra week and will no longer be reset at the end of the week like previous seasons. “After further discussion with the development teams, we’d like to clarify the situation of the January 4-11 week for the Demonsbane rankings,” NCSoft explained. “During that week, ranking for the fourth ‘week’ of the current Demonsbane season will continue instead of being a separate week. It means that your Demonsbane scores will allow you to climb the ladder for the last ‘week’ of the season, which will last for two weeks in real time.”
The studio is also looking into possibly doubling the rewards for the fourth week to compensate players for the missing week of rewards, with extra rewards thrown in for the inconvenience. Players will automatically receive their rewards on January 11th.
“The seasonal rankings will also be updated with scores that players obtain during the week of January 4-11, as it would normally be,” added the studio. “Seasonal rewards will be distributed on January 11, as expected. We apologize for the inconvenience that this situation caused and for the late communication on the issue.”
