Blade And Soul ‘Grim Tidings’ Update Will Add New Blade Dancer Third Spec And New Heroic Dungeon
Blade and Soul update for this year, called Grim Tidings, rolls out next week bringing with it the new Third Class Specialization for the Blade Dancer. The Way of the Grim Blade specialization allows players to summon a spectral Grimweaver to fight alongside them. The Grimweaver inflicts powerful ghostly attacks, grants the a movement speed buff, and applies a debuff on enemies.
“This third class specialization offers high burst damage, combining aspects of the effect management from Way of the Spinning Storm and the importance of skill timing from Way of the Thundering Blade while offering its own unique abilities—such as summoning a spectral warrior to control for a limited time.
Once the Grimreaver is called, the Supernatural effect is applied, enabling +10% Movement Speed and +15% Movement Speed when the Grimreaver is summoned. The Grimreaver can be controlled with the Dark Bidding skill (Z), but it also has autonomous abilities. Certain skills will automatically trigger Grimreaver attacks and each Grimreaver attack stacks Grim Marks.”
The update will also introduce the new House of Idols 6-man Heroic Dungeon for players level 60 – HM24. The new dungeon will be available in both Easy and Hard modes.
“Embrace your sense of adventure and the Yurido Adventurers’ Club to explore an old mansion—the House of Idols—a bizarre place full of traps for unsuspecting visitors, and apparently tortured souls, if you’re into that kind of thing.”
A new PvP-free zone called the Ebon Realm, a permanent version of the Ebon Hunting Grounds event zone that went live with the Forgotten Souls update a few months ago. In the Ebon Realm, players will be able to collect Ebon Blooms using the auto-hunting feature which can then be traded in with Dragon Trader Asimjin for various rewards.
