class-action lawsuit filed against them saying that, “The company will undertake vigorous action to defend itself against any such claims.”

The board also acknowledged that it is up to the court to “adjudicate whether the actions undertaken by the Company and of its Management Board in connection with the release of Cyberpunk 2077 constituted a violation of federal laws, i.a. by misleading investors and, consequently, causing them to incur damages.”

The Rosen Law Firm filed the lawsuit last week against CD Projekt S.A.’s leadership for allegedly making false/misleading statements regarding the state of Cyberpunk 2077 and/or failing to disclose that the game was “virtually unplayable” on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One because of a massive amount of bugs. The firm is seeking to recover damages on behalf of investors and shareholders who purchased CD Projekt S.A. shares between January 16, 2020 to December 17, 2020 although CD Projekt notes that, “The complaint does not specify the quantity of damages sought.”
