Dual Universe Previews Visual Improvements Coming In The Athena PvP Update
While the “setting Helios ablaze” with new PvP content, it will also make the game a whole lot prettier. All the better to see the destruction and mayhem that the update will bring.
Developer Novaquark shows off the drastic improvements to the sci-fi sandbox MMO’s visuals with a pair of side-by-side videos on Twitter. One video shows enhancements made to water visual effects while the other highlights the new process used to render stars in the skybox.
There’s still no word on an exact release date for Athena but the team is eyeing sometime this spring. In the meantime, you can check out the new and improved visuals below. You can also find out more about the update here.
