Phoenix Labs Unveils Fae Farm’s First DLC ‘Coasts Of Croakia’ Amid Layoffs At The Studio
Fae Farm is taking players on a cozy adventure to frog land with the release of its first DLC, aptly named Coasts of Croakia.
“With the help of a new magical croaking friend, find your way to a whole new realm to explore, with exciting encounters and discoveries,” teased developer Phoenix Labs.
The DLC comes out on December 14th and will introduce a new floating islands zone that can be accessed through a portal in a giant frog’s mouth. Nintendo Switch and PC Deluxe Edition owners will get access to the cozy MMO’s new content for free, while everyone else will have to purchase the DLC. Pricing details to be revealed soon.
However, it’s not all sunshine, cutesy frogs, and rainbows over at the studio as it suffers its second round of layoffs this year. 34 more employees were given their pink slips as the studio downsizes its publishing, human resources, IT, and shared team services departments.
The studio assures Fae Farm and all remaining games in its portfolio. “Fae Farm’s DLC and Dauntless updates are on track, and we have exciting unannounced projects in the works,” the studio said.
