Korean MMOARPG Lost Ark To Start Closed Beta Testing In November

Korean MMOARPG Lost Ark is inching closer towards its highly-awaited western release as Amazon Game Studios gears up for the start of closed beta testing next month.

“Since our September update we’ve continued working alongside Smilegate RPG to prepare for Closed Beta and launch, including integrating functional systems into the game, testing new builds, and more. With all of these updates falling into place, we’re going to need your help making sure everything is running smoothly — and that means it’s almost Beta testing time!”

The week-long closed beta starts November 4th and will run until November 11th with a focus on testing server stability, tech integrations, and bug testing. Players will also get to test out newly-added systems, new builds, and new content, including new prologue tutorials for each class as well as new zones and dungeons as the team opens the entire continent of Rohendel for exploration.

The cash shop will also be open for testing with each player getting 40,000 Royal Crystals to use during the closed beta.

Founder’s Pack owners get instant access to the playtest while the rest can sign up on the Lost Ark official site for a chance to score an invite.

A die-hard RPG fan as far back as Final Fantasy IV on the SNES and even had a brief stint with MUDs. Ragnarok Online was the first game that got me hooked on MMOs. I'm also a big fan of FPS games and have crossbowed, crowbared, and blown away countless players back when Half-Life was king. Currently looking for a game that can hold my attention aside from CS: GO.
