In the announcement, Eleventh Hour Games acknowledged the crowded ARPG landscape, noting the desire to give players “time to enjoy both Last Epoch and other titles in the genre.” While not naming Path of Exile 2 directly, the adjusted timeline suggests a strategic move to reduce overlap.

The delay allows fans of both games to engage with Path of Exile 2’s content first, followed by Last Epoch’s new season two weeks later. This spacing aims to prevent player burnout and split attention between the two major updates.
