Metin2 Launches On Steam

Yet another game is ing Metin2 has made its way to Valve's ever-popular digital storefront. Despite receiving "Mixed" reception in of reviews, it has already taken off in popularity, skyrocketing to a peak concurrent player count of nearly 5500 according to SteamCharts.

For those that don't know, Metin2 is an old-school Korean grinder. It is the 2004 sequel to Metin, a 2D MMORPG from 2000 that never launched in the West, but Webzen.

Metin2 boasts hack-'n-slash gameplay in a 3D environment, PvP duels, faction-based PvP, and old-school grinding. It has five classes—Lycan, Ninja, Shaman, Sura, or Warrior—all of which can specialize into a subclass, other than Lycans.
