Overwatch 2’s Greek Mythology-Inspired Battle For Olympus LTM Begins Tomorrow

Overwatch 2 is starting off the year with a special limited time mode called Battle for Olympus, which, as the name suggests, pits players against each other in the Greek Pantheon dressed up as iconic characters from Greek mythology with new skills to match.

“Introducing Battle for Olympus, a free-for-all deathmatch mode featuring seven of your favorite Heroes with reimagined abilities that channel the power of the Gods!” reads the trailer description.

These heroes include Junker Queen, who gets a new Zeus-inspired mythical skin that turns her Commanding Shout skill into a lightning barrage, Legendary Hades Pharah, Legendary Poseidon Ramattra, and Legendary Medusa Widowmaker. The other heroes included in the Battle for Olympus lineup are Lucio, Roadhog, and Reinhardt.

Battle for Olympus will run from January 5th through January 19th and will feature its own global leaderboard which will be tallied at the end of the event’s run. The hero with the most eliminations at the end of the event will be immortalized as a statue in the Ilios map.
