Palworld’s Basic Minimap Mod Is Something You Didn’t Want But Definitely Need

With Palworld’s almost immediate rise to video game stardom, it’s easy to forget that the Pokémon with guns MMO is still an early access game. That means that we can probably expect a whole bunch of new features down the line. It’s unclear whether that includes a minimap, but someone has made a mod for it anyway and it’s made navigating the critter-filled world a whole lot easier.

Dekita’s Basic Minimap mod is well… basic, in every sense of the word, and not in a bad way. It sits cleanly at the lower right corner of your screen, auto-hides when you’re in battle, and auto-zooms when you hit an obstruction like a tree or when you’re inside a cave.

It also works in both co-op and offline play and can be activated with a simple press of the insert key. One thing that’s missing from the mod though is a fixed north point, which will likely be added in future versions seeing as its one of the most requested features at the moment. The mod itself is already flying off the shelves.

If having a handy minimap sounds like something you need, you can the mod here with step-by-step instructions on how to install it. You’re going to have the jump through a few small hoops, but it will definitely be worth it.
