Past Fate Delays Early Access, Tweaks Difficulty, And Adds Character Saving

After a two-week open alpha test back in August, Past Fate is back to closed testing instead of launching into early access as originally planned. Since then, the developers have been hard at work addressing player which includes various improvements in the medieval open world MMORPG’s latest update.

Patch 0.4.0 introduces significant adjustments to player and mob stats to make combat much more challenging along with various environment and lighting changes to make the game world look more realistic. The highlight of the patch, however, is the addition of functional character saves which will now allow players to keep their progress during testing instead of having to start from scratch every time they .

Crafting requirements have also been reduced, item weights have been tweaked, and nights now last 15 minutes. The developers warn that nighttime in the game can be very dark, offering the same illumination, or the lack thereof, as lightless tunnels.
