RuneScape Gives Slayers A Month-Long Boost, Preps Valentine’s Day Minigame
RuneScape is giving Slayers a little help to help them get to the endgame in time for the Shadows Over Sennisten content release on February 28th. Players will get various buff, boosts, and bonuses as part of the War Reckoning event which will run from February 7th through February 28th.
During the War Reckoning event, players will enjoy safe deaths, double Slayer and Reaper points, a 50% reduction on the Marks of War cooldown and Invention drain rate, increased luck on the Rare Drop table, and 50% more XP gains from Slayer tasks. Players will also get 48 hours of double XP that they can use or pause at will. The boost will be available from February 18th until February 28th. Note that the 50% XP boost for Slayer tasks will be disabled when using double XP time.
Players can also look forward to a Valentine’s Day-themed Treasure Hunter minigame which will be available from February 10th to February 14th. Themed cosmetics, emotes, titles, and a tradable version of the Sceptre of Enchantment from a few years ago are up for grabs during the event.
