Despite several of Shot Online service will receive a major update on March 15th. The update will introduce Scenario 5 and quests. Over 160 quests will be added to the game in all, including an oddly specific "more than 5000 minutes" of storyline content.

AI Golfmen and Partners will be introduced in the update. If one player of a four-player team leaves "after the 9th hole of an 18-hole round," an AI Golfman will take their place to give the other players a chance to continue the game. They will receive various benefits, such as EXP x4, for the rest of the match. AI Partners are bots that allow players to "receive the benefits of co-playing" without playing with another player. Only one AI Partner per is allowed.

Various other changes will also be included. The EXP system is being adjusted. Due to EXP system adjustments, EXP events will use lowered rates after the update. Players will be able to work towards the "World Pro III" title, granting those that obtain it a 45% World Pro Ball, a new World Driver, and "an enhanced World Pro Buff."

To celebrate the update, two events will begin when it goes live, the New Caddie EXP Event and another event that will allow existing players to use Scenario Jumping Books to begin at level 102 or level 120. You can find March's full event schedule here.
