Star Trek Online is celebrating its 8 year anniversary this week and released a nifty infographic to celebrate the occasion. The most interesting data point for me was the game's reach since launch which stands at 5.2M total players. Also interesting is the divide between the game's playebrase across various platforms. 62% of the game's playerbase is on PC, 19% on Xbox, and 19% on Playstation.

Since its release in 2010, Star Trek Online has enjoyed the launch of 161 episodes, 3 major expansions, and 14 seasons of content. Expect tons of in-game events and giveaways to celebrate the occasion. The game's latest episode titled Scylla & Charibdis also launched this last week so players can explore that new content as well.
