The Akasch Invasion Expansion Is Now Live In ArcheAge & ArcheAge Unchained
ArcheAge and ArcheAge Unchained, bringing with it a new adventure zone, a new raid, the new Gunslinger skillset, and the new Rifle weapon type.
“Players who enjoy fighting from the distance, but are tired of stringing their bows, now have a chance to transform themselves into a ruthless, rifle-wielding adventurer. The new Gunslinger skillset combines potent ranged attacks with a variety of critical debuffs, guaranteed to give you an edge in combat. Combined with any of the existing skillsets, the Gunslinger skillset introduces a total of 66 new classes to explore.”
The new Ipnya Ridge adventure zone in the far west of Auroria has also been opened where veteran players will face off against an ancient enemy in new story quests and the new Akasch Invasion raid which will require players from all factions to unite against a common foe. Additional story quets will also introduce players to the history of the Nuon, an ancient race of honorable dragon hunters and the ancestors of the Warborn.
“An opening in Mysthrane Gorge will bring you back to a land filled with ruins of the ancient hub city where the Ipnysh once thrived. Traversing the ridge will be anything short of easy. While the ruins of the Ipnya remain, new structures of Akasch origin have appeared that can only mean something sinister is coming…”
The Akasch Invasion content is free for both ArcheAge and ArcheAge Unchained players. The Gunslinger skillset, however, is a paid DLC exclusive to Unchained players. The DLC packs are available starting at $15.99 for the Silver Pack, which includes the new skillset and access to the fresh start server, all the way up to $59.99 for the Archeum Pack which comes with exclusive cosmetics and pets in addition to the Gunslinger skillset and fresh start server access.
