Shadowverse, and other digital CCGs, Artifact will NOT be free to play. The game's core mechanics will also be substantially different than other CCGs as it will feature multiple lanes, respawning heroes, and more. Richard Garfield, the creator of Magic the Gathering, also assisted in the game's design.
