Blizzard Previews The Big PvP Changes Coming In Wrath Of The Lich King Classic

If you were one of the players who were there when Wrath of the Lich King first launched in World of Warcraft in 2008, then you’ll probably be familiar with the PvP and battlegrounds changes that came with the expansion, which included the first opening of the Isle of Conquest battleground along with other new PvP modes.

Wrath of the Lich King also featured the opening of the 120v120 open-world PvP zone, Wintergrasp. But unlike its original release, the Classic version will be a cross-server battleground that players will still be able to queue for by physically entering the zone before combat begins or by visiting the battleground NPC in Dalaran.

Blizzard has published a rather lengthy video explaining how the new Wintergrasp battleground will work, along with the new Arena ranking system, new PvP gears, and all the other big PvP changes arriving with Wrath of the Lich King Classic when it hits the live servers on September 26th. You’ll find the full video down below.
