World Of Warcraft Classic Has Officially Rolled Out The Wrath Of The Lich King Pre-Patch
The journey to Northrend begins today in World of Warcraft Classic as the Wrath of the Lich King pre-patch officially hits the servers. Players will now be able to play as Death Knight hero class and create glyphs to boost the power of their undead knight or any other existing class through the new Inscription profession.
The pre-patch also marks the opening of a new Fresh Start server called Skyfury (PvP) that will allow players to start their Northrend-bound journey on equal footing with everyone else. Players who decide to the new servers will have to work towards unlocking the new Death Knight class the old-fashioned way by reaching level 55 on at least one character as boosters and character transfers will be unavailable for the next three months. More Fresh Start servers expected to open up over the next few days or weeks.
Players can also look forward to the start of the server-wide Zombie Plague event on September 6th and the Scourge Invasion on September 13th ahead of Wrath of the Lich King Classic’s official launch on September 26th. You can check out the full pre-patch release notes on the World of Warcraft official site.
