Zenless Zone Zero 2.0 Launches June 6 with Waifei Peninsula, Xbox Debut, and Major Anniversary Rewards

HoYoverse is kicking off a major new chapter in Zenless Zone Zero with the launch of Version 2.0, titled Where Clouds Embrace the Dawn, on June 6. This update marks the start of Season 2 and coincides with the game's official release on Xbox platforms. Version 2.0 introduces the new Waifei Peninsula region, several new Agents, combat upgrades, and an extensive list of anniversary rewards for players.

Following the events of the Sacrifice crisis, players—known in-game as Proxies—will explore Waifei Peninsula, a vibrant but mysterious district in New Eridu. Players will be guided by new characters like Grandmaster Yixuan and take on new missions and encounters in the region's core zone, the Lemnian Hollow.

What’s New in Version 2.0:

• Waifei Peninsula and Suibian Temple:
  • A new explorable district filled with tea houses, pawnshops, and local flavor
  • Suibian Temple becomes a base players can manage and upgrade by sending Bangboos on missions and gathering resources
  • New 3D map and navigation tools improve movement and Hollow traversal
  • Fissure Beacons allow fast travel, revives, and healing across Hollows
• Expanded Combat and Agents:
  • Yixuan s as an S-Rank Auric Ink Agent with high burst damage and unique Adrenaline-based mechanics
  • Ju Fufu debuts as an S-Rank Fire Stun Agent with party-wide CRIT buffs and powerful dual-mode attacks
  • Pan Yinhu (A-Rank Physical Defense) and Belion (S-Rank Bangboo) round out the Yunkui Summit team
  • Astra Yao and Caesar, returning S-Rank characters, will be featured in 2.0 banners
  • Hollow Zero now s multiple Gears per Agent, adding more customization to combat
• Anniversary Rewards:
  • Free S-Rank Agent and S-Rank W-Engine from the Stable Channel
  • 1,600 Polychromes, 20 Encrypted Master Tapes, 10 Boopons, exclusive avatar and title
  • Special outfits for the protagonists unlocked through event participation
• Seasonal Events:
  • Gravitational Attraction: Players can watch movies with characters and unlock the A-Rank W-Engine Reel Projector
  • Soul of Steel: Golden Bond: Pilot mechs through special missions to earn high-tier gear and items

Version 2.0 deepens both the story and systems of Zenless Zone Zero, while the anniversary event gives players multiple paths to unlock high-value rewards. The update also helps onboard new players more efficiently by allowing them to skip directly to Season 2 after finishing Season 1’s Chapter 2 Interlude.
