Red 5 Studios was founded by Mark Kern in 2006 and is composed mainly of former executives, developers, and employees of Blizzard Entertainment. The company’s founders performed various roles in the development of Blizzard’s Webzen in all other countries worldwide outside of the US, Canada and Europe. Red 5 Singapore was also formed to oversee operations in Asia. The company has also recently announced their plan to open a new office in Ireland dedicated to localization and of the European version of Firefall.
