Thingsoft was founded in 2005 with help and funding from Neowiz, a South Korean online game publisher. In 2006, Neowiz fully acquired the company and integrated Thingsoft as a development studio. When Neowiz split into smaller companies in 2007, ThingSoft became Nexon, another Korean gaming giant, and now operates as a subsidiary of Neople Inc., another subsidiary of Nexon.
