The 2017 Spring Split of the NA LCS has started again from its break. Some teams are new this year, like FlyQuest eSports. Others are completely changed up, like Immortals, Team Dignitas, and Team Liquid. Others are the same, like Counter Logic Gaming. Nevertheless, the Spring Split is sure to be exciting with the introduction of the 10 ban system and the influx of talented Korean players.
This week featured TL Piglet making the switch to midlane with almost comically successful results for the 10th place team. TSM and C9 have started to solidify themselves as the top teams to beat in the league.

The EU LCS 2017 Spring Split has begun! The EU LCS is similar to the LPL in that it has 10 teams divided into two groups of five. There is a double round robin for Weeks 1-3 and 8-10, and a single round robin against teams from the other group for Weeks 4-7. All matches are best of three and the top team from each group advance to the Playoffs.

The 2017 LoL Champions Korea Spring Split has begun. It's an exciting time for the LCK in that many Koreans have come back from China, forming super teams. The LCK is organized as a Double Round Robin with each game being a best of three. The top five teams will qualify for the Playoffs.
This week featured the most anticipated match-up of the two super teams, SKT and KT. As the two best teams in the league and world, the match did not disappoint. Many analysts claim that the first series was the greatest best-of-three in history. The third game is especially incredible to watch. With SKT's win in both of their meetings, SKT has solidified their dominance in Korea and the world.

Taking place in Katowice, Poland, the Intel Extreme Masters XI - World Championship featured twelve teams competing for a $250,000 USD prize pool. The tournament went from March 1-5 and had two round robin groups of six with a single elimination playoffs afterwards.
The tournament ended with Astralis sweeping both Natus Vincere and Heroic in the Quarterfinals and Semifinals until they faced FaZe Clan in the Finals where they won 3-1.

The ESL Pro League Season 5 is underway with both Europe and North America having their own leagues from February 7 - May 18. With $125,000 USD on the line, 14 teams from both regions will play for 12 spots to compete for $750,000 at the Verizon Theatre in Dallas, Texas.
This week, ESL was on pause for the IEM World Championships.

The StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3 is a premier tournament taking place in Europe, America, and China that culminates in the main tournament from April 4-9 for $300,000 USD. Each individual regional tournament is from February 2-28 (NA goes until March 18th) and features 24 different teams. The main tournament has eight different invited teams, three teams from EU and CN, and two teams from NA.

The StarLadder i-League StarSeries is a tournament featuring the best teams in four regions: Europe, North America, Asia, and China. Going from February 23-26, eight teams competed for $300,000 USD.

Overwatch APEX Season 2 is a tournament where 16 teams play from January 17 to April 8 for ₩ 200,000,000 KRW (≃ $178,000 USD). The format is a round robin group stage, and a single elimination Playoffs.

The Overwatch Carbon Series is organized by Carbon Entertainment and Blizzard Entertainment. Taking place from February 20 to March 26, the tournament features six teams from North America who will play in a Round Robin where the top four teams will advance to a double elimination Playoff.
