Albion Online Prepares To Open A New Fresh-Start Server Region In Europe And MENA
Albion Online made waves in Asia with the opening of the Albion East servers last year. Now, its looking to conquer Europe and the MENA regions as it prepares to open a brand-new fresh start server for players located in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.
While all players have always been able to play through any of the free-to-play MMORPG’s servers, Albion Europe should help improve latency for everyone in the said regions. It will also feature region-specific quality-of-life features including expanded language . The existing servers will also be renamed as Albion Americas and Albion Asia accordingly.
“This server will make the world of Albion more accessible than ever for countless new and existing players,” touts Sandbox Interactive. “Along with offering greatly improved connection speeds and ping for players in the region, the new server will also offer optimized timers for ingame events, as Albion’s two newest languages, Turkish and Arabic, further expand Albion’s global community.”
In preparation for Albion Europe’s launch, Sandbox Interactive will be selling Founder Packs starting on March 11 which will include exclusive cosmetics, free subscription time, character name and guild name reservation, and access to the closed beta test when it kicks off on April 3. Open beta testing will follow on April 10 followed by a staggered founder head start on April 24 and free-to-play launch on April 29.
