Albion Online Season 7 Is Now Live With Drastic Changes To Guild Vs Guild Mechanics

last week’s article, the new season brings with it a number of changes that will drastically change how the competition plays out.

Unlike previous seasons, more guilds will be given the chance to make their mark in the rankings with the addition of Guild Challenges. Killing monsters, fishing, and farming will now reward guild with Challenge Points that will automatically be converted to Season Points upon reaching certain milestones.

Attack times have also been consolidated to discourage team from fighting multiple guild vs guild skirmishes in a day. Castle Outposts have also been introduced to give smaller guilds a chance to claim them for season points and force larger guilds to divide their forces should they choose to go for both castles and the outposts. The time window for capturing Castles has also been significantly reduced. Castle mobs now spawn every 3 minutes instead of 15. Mercenaries have also been removed from regular GvG play but can still be used during Crystal Realm Battles.

The Season 7 update also adds the ability to give access rights to Alliance in addition to guild , improves item sorting, and squashes a number of known bugs. Check out the full patch notes on the Albion Online official site.
