Ashes Of Creation Hits Underrealm Stretch Goal, Shows Off Angelic Racial Skin
Ashes of Creation's Kickstarter hit $1.75 million in funding this past Friday, which means that the Underrealm is happening. Once the game is completed, players will be able to head underground and venture through a "vast underground area."
The Underrealm is described as a "rich environment" that will be lit primarily by the bioluminescence that is given off by the area's wildlife. Despite being underground, players will be able to develop civilizations underground, albeit they "may awaken darker creatures than the surface" in the process.
Additionally, Intrepid Studios has unveiled concept art for one of the "unique racial skins" included in the $1000 backer tier: the Angelic racial skin. You can find it embedded below.
As of this writing, the Ashes of Creation Kickstarter has raised $1,893,571 in funding from 10,598 backers. At $2 million, the "added social progression path" with a Thieves Guild, Scholar's Academy, and Trader's Company will be unlocked, whereas, at 11,000 backers, the Tidesnapper mount that was shown off in a previous update will be unlocked.
