Black Desert Online Counts 55 Million Players And €2 Billion In Revenue In 8 Years

There’s no denying that Black Desert Online is still pretty popular eight years after it launched on PC. In fact, Pearl Abyss reports that it’s amassed a total of 55 million players and generated over €2 billion in revenue to date.

“Korean developer and publisher Pearl Abyss revealed a new major milestone on Black Desert Online’s eight-year PC anniversary today, amassing more than 55 million ed online players across all platforms and generating over 2 billion euro in revenue since its Korean launch in 2014,” reads the anniversary press release.”

Meanwhile, anniversary festivities are on deck for the medieval fantasy MMORPG throughout the first few weeks of March. New classes are also coming to both the console and mobile versions of the game in the form of the Black Desert Mobile on March 6 and March 12, respectively.
