Black Desert Online Patches In Mythical Horses And Awakened Maegu On Console
It’s patch day again for the Black Desert Online collection of games, although the PC version is sitting this week out as South Korea celebrates its annual Chuseok holiday. All other platforms received its fair share of new content, especially the console version.
This week’s BDO console patch is a big one, the highlight of which is the addition of mythical versions of the Dine, Doom, and Arduanatt mounts, each with its own unique abilities. The Mythical Dine can travel faster across desert zones, the Mythical Doom can dish out AoE damage using its hooves, and they Mythical Arduanatt can jump and glide vast distances to cross mountainous terrain.
The update also marked the the opening of its own permanent seasonal servers and the arrival of the Awakened Maegu for those who want to get up close and personal with their enemies.
“Awakening Maegu is a melee class that utilizes fast speed and smooth directional changes to overwhelm enemies, the opposite of the ranged attacks of her Succession,” Pearl Abyss announced. “However, her ability to approach enemies in Succession has been incorporated into her Awakening skills. This was done so that she can solely rely on her Awakening skills, instead of constantly switching back to her main weapons skills.”
Over on Black Desert Mobile, this week’s patch opened up three additional Path of Glory rifts, added new Sealed Relic crafting recipes, and introduced various bug fixes and gameplay tweaks.
