Bots Continue to Run Amok in Final Fantasy XIV

Reddit ClaudiaEinhart shared the following screenshot today in /r/mmorpg showing a huge amount of bots running around auto-questing / farming gil. What makes this image even more unfortunate is that it was taken on August 30th, a day after Square Enix just did a ban wave of bots / RMT connected s.

It's a sad state of affairs that this level of blatant botting can exist in one of the most popular Final Fantasy XIV players though, as I think most of us have seen similar sites while playing. I've personally seen a half a dozen to a dozen bots multiple times while leveling.

While it's impossible to stop botting altogether, Square Enix should be able to detect 20+ characters with random names botting together in the exact same spots. There's no excuse.
