Conan Exiles Confirms Release Date For Its Massive Age Of Sorcery Expansion
Age of Sorcery expansion. The expansion officially launches on September 1st and will introduce dark magic to the multiplayer survival game along with the ways to wield it.
“The Age of Sorcery will allow you to sacrifice a portion of your life force to wield dark powers,” Funcom said. “This is insidious, creeping sorcery that requires both preparation and a pinch of madness, as opposed to fireballs and arcane missiles.”
“In addition to sorcery, a new attribute and perk system significantly expands choice when leveling your character, giving you choices between two perks at certain thresholds,” the studio added.
Age of Sorcery will also improve the game’s building system with 60-tier seasonal battle which will replace the traditional DLCs. The first season of the new battle kicks off alongside the expansion’s release.
To mark the arrival of the expansion (and to get more people to try it), Funcom will be running a week-long free-play event from September 1-8 on Steam and September 8-11 on Xbox.
