Dungeons And Dragons Online Unveils New VIP Loyalty Rewards Program And Perks
Standing Stone Games is hoping to encourage more Dungeons and Dragons Online players to purchase VIP subscriptions with a loyalty program that offers additional rewards on top of the benefits that VIPs already receive with an active subscription.
Starting on May 1, you’ll get five bonus shared storage slots as soon as you subscribe or renew your subscription. You’ll then receive increasingly valuable rewards for each month that you maintain an active subscription, including DDO Points, VIP lootboxes, extra character slots, cosmetic effects, and mounts, among others. VIP subscribers will also get the added bonus of being able to swap spells in public areas and no cooldowns when changing spells at the NPC trainer.
“Each month’s gift may be claimed after the 1st of each month, so if you subscribe during the middle of a month you’ll get the immediate gift, and then after the 1st of the next month you’ll be eligible for the first month’s gift,” Standing Stone explains. “You will need to speak to an NPC named Violet Peregrine located in the Hall of Heroes. Speaking to the NPC will award the gift to your game . You can acquire further versions of various cosmetics as well by speaking to this NPC.”
It looks like the loyalty program will be a permanent fixture for VIP subscribers after it goes live and will be refreshed with a new list of rewards every year. A VIP subscription will set you back $14.99 a month, but you can also opt for 3-month, 6-month, or 12-month subscription plans for bigger savings.
