Echo Of Soul Getting New Content Update Featuring Warlock
Despite shutting down in both its country of origin and China, Echo of Soul in the North American and European markets. As promised, the publishing company announced today that Echo of Soul would be receiving a new content update including the long-awaited Warlock class. The new Warlock class "[marries] ranged and melee attacks," which is said to "[challenge] players to a new combat strategy." The Warlock can become either a Tormentor or a Reaper, both of which "[drive their] enemies mad with despair." To celebrate, Aeria have given each player two new character slots, bringing the total to eight. Additionally, the first player to reach level 60 as a Warlock on each server will obtain a new Warlock title.
In addition to the Warlock class, this update introduces two new dungeons; Crimson Fortress and Destroyed Cardilla. These are said to "test the strength of even the toughest players" with "tricky traps and deadly enemies." New Tier 5 Infinite Solo Dungeons and Tier 6 Party Dungeons have been added, as well, but names are not mentioned.
This update marks the beginning of PvP Season 2, which will last until March 2016. Players will compete for "exclusive titles and new PvP gear." The beginning of the Season means that players will also start with a blank slate.
Discovery Packs have been introduced with this update. These give "new (and seasoned!) players a leg up with just the right combination of goods to get a running start in the game." These packs contain exclusive pets, mounts, and costume crafting materials, along with several other goodies, depending on the pack. They can be bought on the official website.
