While you can still play their respective single-player campaigns or even organize LAN parties, you’ll no longer be able to access their online multiplayer modes. If you loved Dead Space 2’s popular Left 4 Dead-styled Necromorphs game mode, that’s unfortunately gone as well.
The ending of online is inevitable for all live service games, so expect to see more server closures over the next few months or years as publishers and developers crank out more and more online games down the line.
