EVE Frontier Opens Up with Founder Access on June 11 and Major New Update

C Games is ready to take the wraps off EVE Frontier, its space survival MMO for PC and Mac. The studio announced that the game will enter its first public phase, called Founder Access: New Era, on June 11. This marks the end of the closed alpha period and allows anyone to in, share gameplay footage, and experience the evolving universe firsthand.

EVE Frontier expands on the legacy of the EVE Online universe, but with a survival twist. Players take on the role of "Riders" which are clones who awaken in an unpredictable galaxy with little memory and must struggle to survive. The game focuses on player-driven exploration, resource management, and social gameplay as players form Tribes, build shelters, and compete for survival in a dangerous, ever-changing environment.

  • Founder Access: New Era launches June 11, ending the closed alpha and allowing public participation.
  • Players can now freely stream, record, and share gameplay from this phase onward.
  • A new trailer, “The Ancient Dark,” showcases the game’s atmosphere and themes of struggle and rebirth in a hostile galaxy.
  • Introduction of a seasonal progression system called Cycles; the first Cycle, “Promised Lands,” also begins June 11.
  • Players earn “Grace” by completing missions and activities, competing in leaderboards with their Tribes.
  • C Games will share additional details and gameplay footage during the PC Gaming Show and a Twitch stream set for June 8.

EVE Frontier represents C's latest effort to diversify its offerings beyond the long-running EVE Online. By merging survival mechanics with the franchise's trademark player-driven narrative, the game aims to carve out its own place within the broader MMO landscape. With open access starting soon and a new seasonal structure, it’s a notable step for the studio as it explores new territory in the sci-fi genre.
