Final Fantasy XIV Kicks Off A Hatchingtide And Little Ladies’ Day Mashup Event Next Week
Final Fantasy XIV is running a colorful mashup of events later this month as it smooshes together its Easter-themed Hatchingtide event and the Japanese Girls’ Day-inspired Little Ladies Day event from March 14 to April 1.
The cities that host the said events will be decorated just as they have over the past years, with Gridania being decked out for Hatchingtide and Ul’dah for Little Ladies’ Day. Limsa Lomina, however, will initially be decorated for Little Ladies’ Day until March 22, at which point the decorations will be replaced by those for Hatchingtide.
Both events will feature a single limited-time questline though. The starting quest can be picked up from Jihli Aliapoh in Old Gridania and will be available players level 15 and above who’ve completed either the Gridanian Envoy, Ul’dahn Envoy, or Lominsan Envoy pre-requisite quests. Players who successfully complete the entire questline before the t event ends will be rewarded with the Peatie mount, a goobbue with a pretty pink crown of flowers.
Square Enix failed to mention whether the cash shop will be updated with items from previous events, but if the Hatchingtide/Little Ladies’ Day mashup is anything like traditional FFXIV events, it probably will.
