Hi-Rez Studios Shuts Down All Paladins Esports Leagues
Paladins competitive eSports leagues. According to the studio, they weren’t able to deliver a “satisfactory” eSports experience last year and have decided to divert eSports funds towards the continued improvement of the game itself.
“We know this news comes as a disappointment to many players and fans, and we would like to thank you all for your continued of the Paladins esports scene these last few years,” said Hi-Rez. “But now it’s time to close this chapter in Paladins’ history so we can redouble our efforts to make sure that the game has a long and healthy life ahead of it.”
Meanwhile, Season 4: Calamity is still on track for February 4th. The new season will bring with it several new Champions, major changes to the Battle cycle, and a whole host of other updates.
