Ilysia’s First Beta Test Has Been Delayed Yet Again Due To Persistent Bug
Ilysia was scheduled to kick off its first beta test last Friday, but last-minute issues forced Team 21 Studios to delay the beta test for the third time since April. Unfortunately, we’re looking at another indefinite delay as the developers continue to wrestle with the undisclosed bug.
“Our team has been working hard to identify and resolve the bug that decided to make an appearance on the same day as our originally planned start date this past weekend,” Team 21 tweeted. “This unfortunately forced us to postpone Beta 1 till we resolve the issue.”
While there’s no timeline on when the issue will be fixed, the team has found the root cause of the issue and it’s apparently buried in the game’s engine rather than a problem with MagePortal as they initially thought.
“As soon as the bug is confirmed fixed, and we do another play test, more details on when B1 will be going live will be announced,” the studio promises. “We apologize again for the short notice, we’re getting close to a fix and we can’t wait to launch B1. Thank you everyone for your and understanding as we tackle this. We WILL get there and get you into Ilysia as soon as possible!”
