Intrepid Studios’ Battle Royale Spinoff ‘Ashes Of Creation: Apocalypse’ Is Now In Early Access

Ashes of Creation: Apocalypse is now live on Steam Early Access. According to the studio, Apocalypse is a prequel to Ashes of Creation and will serve as a testing ground for future content for the fantasy MMORPG.

"Ashes of Creation Apocalypse heading into Early Access means that persistent game servers will be online, so you can hop in and us for Battle Royale testing at any time! As we move towards Castle Siege and Horde Mode testing, Early Access will allow us to gather valuable and data from our community on the key systems that are essential to the Ashes of Creation MMORPG - whether that’s action combat, game performance, network infrastructure, interface, or overall player experience. Getting to this phase of testing would not have been possible without all of your help so far. Every time you jump in and play Ashes of Creation Apocalypse with us, you help us with the iterative process towards building a better and more polished MMORPG."

Apocalypse was initially designed to put Ashes of Creation’s combat system through its paces and collect data in the fastest way possible – an easy to develop battle royale mode. What was initially meant as a quick alpha test, however, morphed into a full-blown battle royale game.

Ashes of Creation: Apocalypse is free-to-play. All you need to do is for a free Intrepid if you don’t already have one. Any items purchased from the Apocalypse cash shop will carry over to the MMORPG.
