Player Numbers Dwindling In Intrepid’s Standalone Ashes Of Creation Apocalypse Battle Royale

Ashes of Creation Apocalypse? The standalone battle royale game is a prequel to Intrepid Studios’ Ashes of Creation MMORPG and also functions as a testing ground for new systems and content for the MMORPG. Having a separate game for testing new things is all well and good, but unfortunately, the game isn’t doing too well in the battle royale front.

According to Steam Charts, the game peaked at 572 players on September 27th which was then followed by a rapid decline over the next few months. As of today, the game has recorded a total of 13 players over a 24-hour period and averaged around 20 players in the first two weeks of December.

On the bright side, it’ll be a lot easier to win a match when you’re going up against just a handful of players. That’s assuming that the matchmaking system actually starts the match in the first place.
