Last Oasis Announces Full Server Wipe This Friday Ahead Of Next Major Update
Last Oasis is due for its next major update and developer Donkey Crew has scheduled a full server wipe sometime on Friday to clear the way for its release and the start of Season 3. The team has yet to announce a release date for the update but they’ve confirmed that it will feature some fundamental changes to the game’s structure, which is probably the reason behind the wipe.
Donkey Crew announced the update earlier this month itting that it was broken because they were rebuilding the game from the ground up to pave the way for the game’s Xbox launch. “[. . .] We're fully expecting to hotfix it multiple times soon after it's out,” said Donkey Crew.
Why release a broken patch? Well, the developers are looking to gather before they commit to actually launching the game on Xbox consoles. “We're finally at the finishing line with all the changes and we need all the help we can get to try it out and give an honest ,” the team added.
Hopefully, the update and the Xbox launch will be enough to boost player numbers which has seen a 43% decline in the last 30 days according to the latest Steamcharts data.
