Last Oasis Officially Launches On Xbox One And Xbox Series X|S With Cross-Play
Woodpunk survival MMO Last Oasis has officially launched on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S through backwards compatibility. The Xbox version comes with a new UI designed for controllers and offers cross-platform play with Steam s, which now also s gamepads. Xbox players also have the option to play with Xbox players only.
The Xbox launch also marks the start of Season 3 featuring the new Realms system, the addition of flying walkers called Sky Walkers, and a new zone called Kali Spires that can only be accessed with the new walkers.
“With the Xbox launch and the start of the season 3, instead of a single realm accommodating all players from every region, the world will be split into a multitude of realms, each with its own region, size, and a clan cap,” said Project Lead Florian Hoffreither in the launch press release.
“Before, every player was forced to coexist with everyone else, experiencing both good and bad consequences of it. Now, everyone has a choice of how they want to play and, more importantly, with whom.”
