Mortal Online 2 Boss Announces Another Stress Test And Final Territory Control PTR

Star Vault CEO Henrik Nystrom revealed plans for several more rounds of testing for Mortal Online 2, including another big stress test on the live servers and the third territory control test on the public test realm.

The team had apparently used the second territory control test on the PTR last month to test network and package-handling backend updates with promising results. They’re now planning to test those updates on the live server with an ad hoc network test that will run for several days. The studio will be giving away temporary keys through various gaming websites to ensure that there will be enough players to make the stress test worthwhile.

The PTR is set to open shortly after the network test comes to an end for another territory control test. For the territory control test, the team is planning a large-scale siege to allow them to gather data on how the territory control system will work at scale.

Star Vault has yet to announce dates and times for the said tests, but Nystrom did reveal that the PTR test will be the final one before the territory control system makes it to the live game.
