Mortal Online 2 Adds A New Sewer Zone, New POIs, And Improves AFK System
Mortal Online 2 is taking players on a trip down to the sewers of Morin Khur for the holidays as the new zone opens its doors with the release of the sandbox MMORPG’s December update. In addition to the new zone, the update also introduced new points-of-interest, including two new graveyards located in Toxai and Mohki.
Various changes and adjustments have also been made to human clade gifts, bounty contracts are now cheaper, AI pathing has been improved, and fall damage when landing on top of other characters has been re-enabled. The AFK system has also been update so that players with unstable connections or slower machines will no longer be kicked out of the game.
“Improvements have also been made to the automatic kick that occurs when a client has an unstable connection,” said developer Star Vault. “The performance of the game client will no longer affect the detection system. This should reduce instances where players with weaker machines were getting kicked due to the game stalling while loading the world during play.”
In other Mortal Online 2 news, the game is currently being offered at 25% off on Steam and can be purchased for just $29.99 until December 12th. If you’re looking to pick up the game, now would probably be the best time to grab a copy for yourself or your friends.
