My.Games Announces Their Plans To Launch My.Games Store Later This Year
Valve’s Steam and Epic’ Epic Games Store have been vying for dominance of the digital games distribution market for months. Now, it looks like a third company is planning to the fray. My.Games has just announced on the company’s website that they’ll be launching their My.Games Store game distribution platform later this year as part of their global expansion strategy.
“I’m pleased to announce the launch of MY.GAMES Store, our global gaming platform,” says CEO Vasiliy Maguryan. “Although our background is delivering F2P and titles to an Eastern European audience, the MY.GAMES Store is the next step in bringing the expertise we’ve cultivated to a global market. Our Russian-speaking platform (Games.Mail.ru) currently has 13 million monthly active s. We believe we can offer a wealth of and knowledge to studios and publishers looking to reach both a Russian and a global audience.”
When My.Games Store launches, players will gain access to a huge roster of games including My.Games titles like Conqueror’s Blade and Warface, along with other third-party titles. Like Steam, the My.Games Store will be offering game developers and publishers a 70/30 revenue split to distribute their games.
The platform will also offer players a secure system for trading in-game items for real money through Lootdog and give streamers the tools to easily monetize and distribute their content through Donation Alerts.
My.Games Store will be launching in Q4 2019. Head over to the My.Games official site for more details.
