Old School RuneScape Rolls Out Its Final Batch Of Speedrunning Quests
RuneScape’s quest speedrunning worlds. Speedrunners can now blow through the Dragon Slayer II and Black Knight’s Fortress quests as fast as they can to earn points that they can spend in the reward shop, as well as trophies in the main game and the all-important bragging rights that come with them.
On the subject of trophies, all quests now have Diamond time goals which, when achieved, won’t grant additional speedrun points but will reward you with a Diamond trophy to show off to your friends.
The studio also notes that while the aforementioned quests may be the final batch to be added to the speedruning worlds, players can still expect them to be updated in the future but less frequently than before.
Meanwhile, the developers were forced to take down and reboot several worlds on the US servers earlier this week due to connection issues. This is on top of the server issues that have been plaguing both the US and EU servers since last week.
