Pantheon: Rise Of The Fallen Talks Seasonal Testing, Battle es, And Features
Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen’s first pre-alpha season is well underway and Visionary Realm is happy to share what’s been going on so far in a new Q&A video.
The first order of business is a bug related to XP gains and loot tables which the developers are currently working to fix. Unfortunately, it’s going to involve a character wipe which the team hopes will be the only this season. Otherwise, the team says that they’re happy with the new seasonal format and already have a good idea for the next stop in the seasonal journey.
The start of seasonal updates also raises the question of whether Pantheon will be getting battle es, and the answer is no, at least for the pre-alpha tests anyway. The developers say that they’ve discussed the possibility of adding a battle but want to ensure that they give backers value for their corresponding pledges, especially since battle es already have a bad reputation within the MMO sphere.
The team also teased features and improvements including lore integration, a completely seamless world, an auction house, a brokering system, a dungeon loot system, and more dungeons. They also touched on the Bard and Summoner classes and offered a bit of insight into how consumables work in the game.
