Path of Exile 2 Patch 0.1.1 Drops This Week: Buffed Uniques, Map Upgrades, and More!
Path of Exile 2's next big update, patch 0.1.1, is set to launch later this week and with it comes buffed uniques, improvements to maps, buffs to armor, and much more. Expect some much bigger changes when the next league drops, but this patch addresses some of the biggest issues with the current state of the game.
Since Path of Exile 2 launched earlier in December, the game hit a peak concurrent playerbase of 578,569, which is more than 2x as much as the original Path of Exile. While these numbers have come down a bit, the game hit a 24 hour peak of 291,849, which is still extremely impressive vs the original game.
Having played ~100 hours of Path of Exile 2, the game feels a bit light on content compared to the original, but that's to be expected given the early access nature of the game. Early access costs $30 to access, but the game will be free to play at launch. The $30 buy in includes an equivalent amount of currency in game. Stash tabs purchased in Path of Exile 1 carry over into Path of Exile 2 as well.
